The Chat and Conferencing Facilities in the LMS rely on JavaScript in order to function correctly, therefore these fail to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines prescribed. Should a learner require assistance using these facilities or would like support with accessing conferencing materials via an alternative medium please contact the partnership for guidance, prior to the live event.
Learners using the LMS can be assured that the remaining LMS functionality uses CSS, XHTML 1.0 transitional and conforms with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, level Single A. The LMS has been tested on Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Opera and Safari.
In order to meet accessibility guidelines all webpages use CSS, unfortunately old web browsers do not support CSS and thus can cause irregularities in the design of the webpages.
